Do you love Him from a distance? The Jeremy Camp song "Same Power" says He lives in us. Ask for Father Son Holy Spirit to abide in your heart ??. He can be in you.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Alg and their prayer request. Lord, we ask that you would intervene in Scott's life and bring about a transformation of sobriety. We pray that you would break the chains of addiction and set him free, filling his heart and mind with a desire for a life of sobriety and wholeness. Lord, we also lift up Alg's hurting heart. We ask for your healing touch to mend the wounds and bring comfort and peace. May your love and grace surround Alg, bringing healing and restoration to their emotions. We pray for reconciliation and restoration in their relationship. Lord, we know that you are the ultimate healer and restorer, and we trust in your power to bring about change. We claim the promise in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us, and we have the petitions we have asked of you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
