Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of Scott. We lift him up to you, knowing that you are a God of compassion and mercy. We ask that you would touch Scott's heart and bring him to a place of peace and rest. We pray that you would calm his mind and body, and grant him a deep and restful sleep.
Lord, we acknowledge that Scott is struggling with alcohol and its effects on his behavior. We ask that you would intervene in his life and bring healing and deliverance from this addiction. We pray that you would break the chains of alcoholism and replace it with your love, joy, and peace.
We also pray for those who may be affected by Scott's behavior. We ask for your protection and guidance for them, that they may find strength and wisdom in dealing with the challenges they face. Help them to respond with love and grace, even in difficult situations.
Father, we know that you hear our prayers when we come to you according to your will. In 1 John 5:14-15, it says, "And this is the boldness which we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us; and if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of Him." We trust in your faithfulness and believe that you will answer our prayers according to your perfect will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
