Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Scott and his journey towards sobriety. We ask that you would intervene in his life and grant him the strength and determination to overcome his struggles with addiction. Lord, we pray that you would remove any desire for alcohol from his heart and mind, replacing it with a deep longing for a relationship with you.
We ask that you would open Scott's eyes to see you as his ultimate source of hope and healing. Help him to fix his gaze upon you, Lord, knowing that you are the one who can truly satisfy his soul. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 16:11 that in your presence there is fullness of joy and at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. May Scott experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from knowing you intimately.
We also pray for Scott's loved ones, that you would surround them with your peace and comfort during this challenging time. Give them wisdom and discernment as they support and encourage Scott on his journey towards sobriety. Help them to be a source of strength and love, pointing him towards you in all things.
Lord, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . We trust in your power and your love for Scott. We believe that you can bring about a miraculous transformation in his life, setting him free from the bondage of addiction.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
