Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we lift up Scott and Anita before you. We thank you for the time that alg spent with Scott and Anita and for the goodness that was experienced. Lord, we pray that you would bind their hearts together in a deep and meaningful way. May their love for one another grow stronger each day, and may they have a desire to spend the rest of their lives together.
We are reminded of the words in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, which say, "Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Lord, we pray that you would be the third strand in their relationship, strengthening and guiding them.
We ask for your wisdom and guidance in their journey together. May they seek your will in all things and rely on your grace and love to sustain them. Help them to communicate openly and honestly with one another, and to always prioritize their relationship with you at the center.
Lord, we also pray for any challenges or obstacles that may come their way. Give them the strength and perseverance to overcome any difficulties, and may their love for one another be a testimony of your faithfulness and grace.
We commit Scott and Anita into your loving hands, trusting that you will work in their lives according to your perfect plan. May their relationship be a reflection of your love and bring glory to your name.
