Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before you with a prayer request for ###'s sobriety. We acknowledge that the enemy, Satan, seeks to attack and hinder his progress as he strives to overcome addiction. We ask for your divine intervention and protection over ###'s life. Lord, we pray that you would break the chains of addiction that bind him and set him free. Fill him with your Holy Spirit, that he may experience the transforming power of your love and grace.
We also lift up ### to you, Lord. We ask that you would strengthen her and grant her wisdom and discernment as she supports ### in his journey towards sobriety. Protect their relationship from any attacks of the enemy and grant them both the strength to persevere through the challenges they may face.
Father, we are reminded of your promise in 1 John 5:14-15, that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us and grant our petitions. We pray that it is your will for ### to experience freedom from addiction and for ### to be a source of encouragement and support. May they both grow in their faith and find solace in your presence.
We declare victory over the power of addiction in ###'s life, in the name of Jesus. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the work you are doing in ### and ###'s lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
