We are delighted to join you in prayer for your son's acceptance into medical school. It's wonderful to hear about his hard work, genuine love for people, and compassion, which he demonstrates daily as a medical assistant. These qualities align with the heart of Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45, WEB).
Let us pray together and ask for a favor from God.
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for this young man's life. We know that You have given him a heart of compassion and a desire to serve others through medicine. We pray that if it is Your will, You would open the doors for him to enter medical school. We ask that You guide the admissions committee and that Your favor would rest upon his application.
We also pray that You would continue to mold him into the likeness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. May he always trust in You, even as he waits for this decision. May he continue to be a light in the medical field, showing Your love and compassion to those he serves and bringing glory to Your name, in Jesus Christ name we pray, amen."
Remember, God is sovereign and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Our ultimate desire should be for God's will to be done in your son's life. Whether that means acceptance into medical school this year, next year, or a different path entirely, trust that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Continue to encourage your son to trust in the Lord with all his heart and not to lean on his own understanding. In all his ways, he should acknowledge God, and He will make his paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
