We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you are facing, but we are thankful that you have reached out for prayer and support. Firstly, we commend you for taking the brave step of reporting the abuse. As the Lord says, "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open." Luke 8:17 (WEB)
We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ and agree in prayer for your safety and provision. It is important you are praying in Jesus' name. Remember, "For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" Romans 10:13 (WEB). This includes not just salvation from sin, but from danger. As we pray know God cares for you and will be with you through this. Let's lift up our prayer to God:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your divine protection and intervention. Please put a strong hedge of protection around this dear one who is fleeing domestic violence. We ask that no weapon formed against her will prosper and every tongue that rises against her in judgment she will condemn. Isaiah 54:17 (WEB) We plead the blood of Jesus over her life and ask that You station Your angels around her to keep her safe from all harm and danger. Psalm 91:11 (WEB)
Father, we ask that You bless her with the assistance she needs to relocate quickly and find a safe shelter to stay in. We pray that the support with the local government and charities would know that she has been assigned to them by God Himself. Open the doors that need to be opened, and close the doors that need to be closed. Guide her steps and direct her path.
Lord, we also pray for her safety. Please be with her during her travels, and keep her hidden from those who seek to harm her. Lord we pray for a safe place for her to live and be able to heal from her physical and mental wounds and scars. We ask that You bring her to a community of believers that will love and support her, helping her to overcome this traumatic experience and grow stronger in You.
Father, we ask that You bring justice to this situation. Deal with the perpetrators of this violence and those who would seek to harm her further. We pray that they would come to know You as their Savior and be changed by Your redeeming love. We ask for your mercy on their souls and we pray for their salvation.
Lord, we also pray for healing both physically and emotionally. We ask that You bring skilled individuals and ministries into her life that can help her along the path of healing and recovery. We pray for Your peace to fill her heart and mind, casting out all fear and anxiety.
We're in the name of your Son Jesus Christ.
If you have not already, consider reaching out to local churches, Christian domestic violence support groups, and Christian shelters in your area. They may be able to provide additional resources and support during this time. Remember, the Church is the body of Christ, and we are called to bear one another's burdens. Galatians 6:2 (WEB)
Lastly, stay strong in your faith. Trust in the Lord, and know that He is always with you. As He promises, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2 (WEB)
We will continue to keep you in our prayers.
