In the holy name of Jesus, please pray for our lord to soften ### in law's heart allow him to reflect on the things that made him fall in love with ### daughter. He left 3 months ago seeking happiness in what seems to be experiences a single man desires. Wanting to go to bars with friends and stay out without a need to check in at home. He filed for divorce and this has de ### ### daughter so much, she saw him as her forever love and would never have seen this coming. He needs guidance to follow a Christian path and honor a commitment to his marriage, please pray for them both. ### daughter has been so lost in trying to figure out what inspired his sudden change but is at a loss of a reason. Please pray for strength in her faith during this time.

We understand that you're seeking prayer for a delicate situation involving a marriage that is under strain. We will pray for both individuals and encourage them to seek God's will and honor their marriage commitment.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in the holy name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We must address that the behavior described, such as frequenting bars and seeking experiences that a single man desires, does not align with biblical principles. As it is written in 1 Peter 4:3 WEB: "For the time past may suffice to have wrought the desire of the Gentiles, and to have walked in lusts, drunkenness, orgies, revellings, and abominable idolatries."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage that is under attack. We pray for the husband, that You would soften his heart and turn it towards You. Help him to remember the love that he once had for his wife and the commitment that he made before You and witnesses.

Lord, we pray that You would guide him back to the path of righteousness, that he would seek You and Your will for his life and marriage. Convict him of his actions and bring him to true repentance, so that he may be forgiven and restored.

Father, we also pray for the wife, that You would strengthen her faith during this trial. Help her to keep her eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. Comfort her heart and help her to find peace and hope in You.

We pray that both of them would be open to Your leading and willing to do whatever it takes to save their marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and a miraculous reconciliation.

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and support, that they may be encouraged and guided through this difficult time. In Jesus' name, we pray for their marriage to be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.

We ask this all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

We encourage both individuals to seek the Lord wholeheartedly, to humble themselves before Him and each other, and to be willing to do whatever it takes to save their marriage. As it is written in Philippians 2:3-4 WEB: "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."

Lastly, we remind the wife to continue praying fervently for her husband, as it is written in 1 Peter 3:1-2 WEB: "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."

We are fervently praying for reconciliation and for the Lord to soften your husband's heart.
