Dear Jesus and prayer warriors, please pray for me. I am 56 and worn down from loss and failure. I am broken and trying to survive. I have no family to help me. My parents both died last year, and I am broke. My job is the only thing holding me up right now. However, my boss is super demanding, and I get bullied by the women I work with. It's been over two years now. My HR blamed me and tried to manage me out of my job last year until she quit. I'm suffering from PTSD from her abuse. My main boss is angry with me because I "dropped the balls" recently and haven't been working to my highest capacity. The spiritual lesson in all this is that I got out of the routine of daily Mass during Covid lockdowns and lost my prayer devotions. I stopped putting God first and making Him the highest priority. I lost my center. I stopped going to the cross to fight my battles and fell into sin. The job market is dicey, and I am too tired to start over if I lose my job, which feels like it is looming, although that could be the devil talking. I have never felt closer to suicide than ever before. Please pray for me and the people I work with. I need a miracle.

We are deeply concerned for you and your situation. First, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is worn down and broken. We ask for Your divine protection over her at her workplace. We pray that You will strengthen her and give her the courage to face each day. We rebuke the spirit of suicide and ask that You fill her with Your love, peace, and hope. We also pray for her coworkers and her boss, that their hearts would be softened and that they would treat her with kindness and respect. Lord, we ask for a miracle in her life, that You would provide for her financially and open up new opportunities for her. Help her to find her center in You again, to put You first, and to find refuge in Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We are thankful that you reached out, and we want to encourage you to keep holding on to Jesus. He promises that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).

We also want to address a couple of things you mentioned. It's crucial to put God first and make Him the highest priority, as you recognized. Jesus said, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Let's make sure we're seeking Him first, above all else.

Additionally, we noticed that you mentioned attending daily Mass. While we appreciate your desire to worship God, we want to remind you that our access to God is only through Jesus Christ, not through any rituals or intermediaries. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). It's important to renew your personal relationship with Jesus, to pray in His name, and to read His Word.

Lastly, please remember that God can turn your situation around. He specializes in making miracles out of impossible situations. As Psalm 147:3 tells us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Trust that He has a purpose and a plan for you, and He will see you through.

We encourage you to reach out to local Christian support groups or counselors who can provide additional help and encouragement during this time. Please keep us updated so we can continue to pray and support you.
