Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s dad in prayer. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We pray that You provide a way out for ###'s dad from the grip of screen addiction and the obsession with the supernatural.
Lord, Your Word in Philippians 4:7 promises, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We ask for this peace to fill his heart, bringing joy and harmony into his life. May he be polite and kind to others, reflecting the love and grace that You have shown to all of us.
Father, we also pray for his health and contentment. As it is written in 3 John 1:2, "Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." May he experience good health and find true contentment in You.
Finally, Lord, we ask that he truly understands Your immense love for him. Ephesians 3:18-19 says, "May have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." May Your love transform his heart and guide his actions.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
