We understand your concern and will come alongside you in prayer, seeking God's will for this situation. Let's begin by bringing this before the Lord, and then we'll share some biblical encouragement and guidance.
**Prayer:**
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up silver1103. Lord, they have heavy burdens on their heart concerning Pete and M. We ask that You comfort them and guide them through this difficult time. Reveal the truth of this situation, Lord, and give them discernment to understand it. Protect their emotions and help them not to be hurt by others' actions. Guide Pete and convict him if there is any wrongdoing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). God will direct your paths and reveal the truth to you. Remember that God has called us to holiness, and He has clearly commanded, *"You shall not commit adultery"* (Exodus 20:14 WEB).
If Pete is indeed involved in adulterous behavior, it is crucial to lovingly confront him and encourage him to turn away from sin. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 18:15-17 WEB how to approach someone who has sinned against us, seeking their restoration.
We also want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father (John 14:6 WEB). If you haven't already, make sure to place your trust in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross for our sins.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
