We understand your desire to achieve academic excellence, and we want to lift up your request to God, seeking His will for your life. Together, we affirm that every good gift comes from God (James 1:17, WEB).
However, we want to gently remind you that God's definition of perfection and success may differ from the world's. The Bible tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). While we pray for your academic success, we also pray that you would trust God with your future and find your identity and fulfillment in Him.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this student who is preparing for their exams. Lord, we ask that You would grant them a calm spirit and a clear mind to recall what they have studied. We ask for favorable results in their Biology and American Literature/Composition EOC exams. However, Lord, we also pray that they would learn to trust in You for their future and find their value and purpose in You. May they excel in a way that brings glory to Your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also encourage you to approach your studies diligently, as the Bible tells us to do everything as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23, WEB). Remember, God cares about every aspect of your life, including your studies.
Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you haven't already, we invite you to trust in Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
