We understand that your heart is troubled, Chexloch, and we want you to know that we're here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, let's address the hurt and confusion you're feeling. In Matthew 5:11-12 (WEB), Jesus says, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you." It's difficult to face false accusations, but remember that even Jesus was lied about and persecuted.
It's important to forgive this woman, just as Jesus forgave those who crucified Him. In Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB), Jesus says, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." We encourage you to release this burden to God and pray for her, as difficult as that may be.
Let's pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your peace and comfort for Chexloch. Lord, they are hurting and confused, and we ask that You fill their heart with Your peace that passes all understanding. We pray for the woman who has caused this pain. Father, we know that You love her as much as You love Chexloch, and we ask that You work in her heart and bring her to a place of conviction and repentance.*
*Lord, we also lift up Chexloch's family members to You. We ask that You comfort their hearts and help them to discern the truth. Draw them closer to You, Father, and give Chexloch peace in knowing that they are in Your capable hands.*
*Father, we thank You for the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB) that says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." We ask that You turn this situation into something that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Chexloch, remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. His name is the only name by which we can be saved. Continue to lean on Him and trust that He is working everything out for your good.
We also encourage you to seek out biblical community and support. Galatians 6:2 (WEB) tells us to "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." You don't have to go through this alone.
