Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today on behalf of our dear family friend, ###. We lift him up to you as he prepares to undergo surgery tomorrow to remove his thyroid cancer. Lord, we ask that you guide the hands of the doctors and medical staff, granting them wisdom and skill to successfully remove all traces of the cancer. We pray that there will be no problems, difficulties, or complications during the surgery.
Father, we humbly ask for a complete healing for ###. May his recovery be swift and smooth, and may he experience your miraculous touch in his body. We pray that the cancer will be completely eradicated from his system, never to return. Surround him with your healing presence, Lord.
In this challenging time, we also lift up ###'s wife, ###, their daughter ###, and their son ###. Comfort them, Lord, and give them strength and peace as they support ### through this journey. May they turn to you, Lord, and witness your glory and faithfulness in the midst of this trial.
We present these prayers to you, Lord, in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We believe in the power of your name and trust that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May your healing and peace be upon ### and his family. Amen.
