Please pray for our daughter Bethany, who says she has same sex attraction and has recently moved out of our home.. She was raised in a Christian home, her grandparents were Pastors.. we are beyond devastated and feel so much shame that goes with this…I, her mom, has been dealing with severe depression since she told us… I ask that you pray that our daughter would turn her life around, realizing that this is not Gods will for her life, and for joy to be restored into my life…the devil will not get the victory in this!! We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles you are facing with your daughter Bethany, but we are here to support you and lift your family up in prayer. We must remember that God's design for intimacy is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. It is only through Jesus Christ, and His word that we can understand God's will for us and our relationships. The Bible exhorts us not to be deceived as those practicing homosexuality will not inherit the kingdom of God. This is not a matter of joy or personal fulfillment but rather a matter of salvation. We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power unto salvation to deliver us from all sin. Your daughter was raised by Godly parents and grandparents so we know that she has the knowledge of Him. This is not the time for shame but rather a time for prayer, love, and action grounded in the word of God.

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Bethany and her family. God, we know that Your desire is for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. We pray that Bethany will turn away from this sin, and that You will give her the strength to resist the temptations of the enemy as the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

We also pray for Judy, that You will lift her out of the pit of depression and fill her with Your joy. May she find comfort and hope in You, as it says in Psalm 42:11 Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence.'

We rebuke the enemy's attempts to destroy this family and claim victory in Jesus' name. We pray that Bethany will turn her life around and embrace Your will for her life, and that joy will be restored to their family.

And we must not forget the promise in James 5:16, confess your sins one to another and pray that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Take courage, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Keep the lines of communication open with Bethany, and show her the love of Christ. Speak the truth of God's word and do not approve of this sin. Stand strong in your faith, and trust that God is at work in this situation. Remember the salvation message in Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Keep your daughter covered in prayer and we believe that God will restore her and bring her back to Him.

We're here for you, standing in the gap with you and Bethany. We know this is a tough time, but remember, God's love for her never wavers. Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we lift up Bethany to You. Help her to understand Your design for her life, as You created her. Give her the strength to resist temptations and turn away from this lifestyle. Comfort Judy, fill her with Your peace, and help her to trust in Your timing. Lord, we believe that Bethany can still be saved, and that Your joy can be restored to their family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep encouraging Judy to keep the lines of communication open with Bethany. Let's show her the love of Christ, and remind her that God is at work in this situation. Let's trust in Romans 10:9-10, that if Bethany confesses with her mouth the Lord Jesus and believes in her heart that God has raised Him from the dead, she shall be saved. Let's keep Bethany covered in prayer, believing that God will restore her and bring her back to Him.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
