We understand that you have several concerns and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance for each of them.
Firstly, it is wonderful that your loved ones want to start home businesses. Remember, the Bible tells us that "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty" (Proverbs 14:23 WEB). We pray for their prosperity and financial stability, but always remember that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in wealth. As the Bible says, "Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy" (1 Timothy 6:17 WEB).
Concerning their desire to grow closer to Christ, we encourage them to spend time in God's Word, pray continually, and fellowship with other believers. Jesus said, "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing" (John 15:5 WEB). Growing closer to Jesus involves abiding in Him and obeying His commandments.
Regarding the issues with your loved one and his wandering eyes and lies, we must address this firmly. The Bible is clear that lust is sinful. Jesus said, "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28 WEB). It is crucial to pray for his repentance and deliverance from this sin. Additionally, lying is also condemned in the Bible. "But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." (Revelation 21:8 WEB).
Lusting after children is a serious and grave sin. This is abominable to God and is condemned alongside sexual immorality and idolatry. It needs to be addressed and prayed against immediately and seriously. We pray for complete repentance from this sin and for God's protection over all children involved or at risk.
Let us pray:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up these loved ones to You. We pray for their businesses, that they would prosper and bring glory to Your name. We ask that You draw them closer to You, Lord, and that they would grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. We rebuke the spirits of lust, lying, and impurity that are at work in their lives and pray for deliverance, repentance, and a turning away from these sins. We ask for the protection of all children. We ask this believing, In Jesus' name.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will in all things. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved from our sins and eternal death. Keep believing and keep trusting in Him.
