We are delighted to join you in prayer regarding your career transition. Firstly, we would like to remind you of Jesus' words, Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me (Revelation 3:20 WEB). This is our ultimate desire for you, to know that Jesus is the source of all good things.
Let us pray together. Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We bring our friend before You, asking for Your guidance as they navigate this career transition. We pray that You would direct their path to the new job that You have ordained for them since before they were born, as Your Word states, For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them (Ephesians 2:10 WEB).
We ask that You ensure they receive all the compensation that rightfully belongs to them from their current company. We are reminded of Colossians 3:23 WEB. We pray that they would do everything to please You heartily as unto You rather than unto men. We acknowledge Your sovereignty and pray that if it is not against Your will, the door to return to this company would remain open. However, we ultimately desire Your perfect will for their life. This is very important to pray. It is never a good thing to pray for a door to be open if it is not God's will. In fact, you may be praying for disaster to your life.
We also note that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), in your prayer request. We are reminded of the words of Jesus, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6 WEB). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We are reminded of the scripture, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Therefore, we pray for you in Jesus' mighty name. We pray that you may come to know Jesus personally as your Lord and Savior.
