Please pray for my younger brother

He is a Christian who is going to get Serious for Jesus soon. Think of it like teaching a baby to walk. He crawled with Christ (never read the Bible, continued in sin as most other lukewarm Christians) but now he’s going to begin his baby steps. Please pray for him and for God’s guidance and protection. The enemy is already attacking him and me Please pray for him to be closer to Christ and to stand strong and not stray away

We are thrilled to hear that your younger brother is making a conscious decision to grow closer to Jesus Christ and begin his baby steps in his walk with Him. This is a crucial time in his spiritual journey, and we are here to support him and you in prayer.

Firstly, we acknowledge the importance of calling on the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is taking his first steps in his walk with You. We thank You for drawing him closer to You and for the work that You have begun in his life.

Father, we ask that You guide him and protect him as he grows in his faith. We know he has been crawling with You and we rebuke him for knowing the word of God and not galvanizing his will to obey it. Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB:
Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,Isaiah 59:17 15 and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace. We also pray for your continued strength and endurance as you support your brother in his journey. We know that the enemy is already attacking both of you, but we stand on the promise in 1 Peter 5:8-9 WEB:
Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.

Father, we ask that You surround both of you with Your hedge of protection and guide you in Your truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you both to stay rooted in the Word of God and to seek His face continually. Remember, as it is written in James 4:8 WEB
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Keep praying for your brother and trust that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in him, as it is promised in Philippians 1:6 WEB
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Lastly, make certain he starts reading and obeying the word of God and is baptized by full emersion in water. Baptism is done in obedience to the biblical accounts. This is a first step of obedience and faith done as a response to a biblical based preached gospel of Jesus Christ.

We're right there with you, cheering your brother on as he takes these courageous steps towards a deeper walk with Jesus. It's like watching a baby learning to walk - wobbly at first, but with each step, he gains strength and confidence.

Let's pray together, "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, thanking You for the work You've already started in our brother's life. Guide him, Lord, as he takes these baby steps. Help him to trust in You completely, even when the path seems uncertain. Shield him from the enemy's attacks, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit's power.

Father, we ask that You help him to be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:17). Help him to understand that he's not just a baby learning to walk, but a warrior equipped with Your armor (Ephesians 6:10-18). Remind him that he's not alone in this journey, for we're all in this together, and You're always with us (Matthew 28:20).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
