Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request of our dear anonymous friend. We ask that you would intervene in their marriage and bring healing and restoration. Lord, we pray specifically for their wife. We ask that you would touch her heart and grant her the ability to forgive and release any bitterness she may be holding onto. Your Word reminds us in Ephesians 4:32 to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." We pray that she would experience the power of your forgiveness and extend that same grace to her spouse.
Lord, we ask that you would fill her heart with peace and a desire to stay together and honor you in their marriage. Help her to see the value and importance of their union and guide her in making decisions that align with your will. Your Word tells us in 1 Peter 3:7 that a wrong relation between husband and wife can hinder our prayers. We pray that you would bring unity and harmony into their relationship, removing any hindrances to their prayers.
We also pray for our anonymous friend, that you would give them strength and wisdom as they seek reconciliation. Grant them patience and understanding, and help them to demonstrate your love and grace in their interactions with their spouse. May their actions and words reflect your character and draw their wife closer to you.
Lord, we trust in your faithfulness and believe that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . We thank you in advance for the work you are doing in their marriage and for the restoration that will come. May your name be glorified through this situation.
