Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts seeking Your divine intervention and healing. Lord, we lift up Boastham and Boastham's wife to You, asking for reconciliation in their relationship. Your Word reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:18 that "All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation." We trust that You are a God who restores and heals broken relationships.
Father, we ask that You soften their hearts towards each other. Remove any bitterness, anger, or resentment that may have taken root. Help them to forgive one another as You have forgiven us. Colossians 3:13 says, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
Grant them wisdom and understanding, Lord. Fill their hearts with Your love and peace. Guide their conversations and interactions so that they may be filled with grace and truth. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." May their words be gentle and their hearts be kind.
Lord, we know that with You, all things are possible. We ask that You bring healing and restoration to this marriage. Strengthen their bond and help them to grow closer to You and to each other. Ephesians 4:2-3 encourages us to "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
