Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Khugowe and their wife in prayer. We ask that you help them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith. May they always seek to know the Lord Jesus more intimately and cling to Him in every aspect of their lives.
Lord, we pray that you would keep Khugowe and their wife from falling, and that they would remain steadfast in their devotion to you. Help them to serve their generation with love and grace, being a shining example of your goodness and truth.
In times of prosperity, may they remain sober and humble, recognizing that all good things come from you. In times of trial, grant them patience and strength, knowing that you are with them and will never leave them nor forsake them.
We also lift up their congregation, asking that your word may have free course in it and be glorified. Strengthen the household of faith, that they may grow stronger in their faith and unity. We pray that the household of unbelief may be weakened, and that hearts may be opened to receive the truth of your Gospel.
Lord, we intercede for their country, asking that you would raise up ministers who preach the Gospel and stand firm in the faith. May the rulers of the land value and govern according to your Word, that your light may continue to shine brightly in their nation.
Lastly, we pray for their minister, that you would strengthen and equip them for the work you have called them to. May they be guided by your Spirit, teaching others with wisdom and love. We ask that you would protect their health and use both their sicknesses and their times of wellness for your glory.
In all these things, we pray that you would unite us in prayer, one for another. May we support and uplift each other, knowing that we are all part of your family. We thank you for the privilege of prayer and for the assurance that you hear and answer our prayers according to your perfect will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
