Let's bring these concerns before the Lord in prayer, seeking His will and intervention for your uncle Mark, your friend Michelle, and your family.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is by the name of the Lord Jesus that we have access to the Father, our only mediator and advocate. . oh Jesus, You are Holy and righteous and by Your stripes we are healed. We seek healing and your Holy intervention in these trying circumstances. Firstly, let us bring uncle Mark before You in prayer, dear Lord. Please be with uncle Mark as he faces this difficult living situation, oh Lord. Your Word tells us that You are a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble, oh Lord. The Psalmist cried out to You, O Lord my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me, or they will tear me apart like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me. Praise be to you. O Lord, for you have delivered me from all my fears. You, Father, will execute justice for the orphan and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will no longer cause them terror, Oh Lord. (1 Samuel 22:3, Psalms 7:1-2, Psalms 34:4, Psalms 10:18) We pray that You, Lord, give uncle Mark Your heavenly protection and guidance, Lord and may Your justice be meted out in any of these earthly trials and tribulations. We cannot ignore the mention of drugs and the dangers.
Oh Jesus, You have told us not to take matters into our own hands, but You, Oh Lord, were clear to us...Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever and anyone who hates his brother is a murderer. We do not have to put ourselves in exclusionary danger in the natural realm as we know Your word gives prudence and specific wisdom to separate from unbelievers. Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. (Proverbs 13:20)
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, Lord; as God said, " I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore, go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing, then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty." And if you find yourself in overwhelming physical danger, you should leave flee and not put yourself at risk. You have not been given a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1, 1 Timothy 5:8, 1 John 2:11, 2 Timothy 1:7)
Let us also pray that this new living arrangement works out in Jesus' name, that this landowner will be fair and just, and not like the wicked landlord. We pray that there is nothing unseemly in their dealings and their rental or living arrangements but instead will be honoring and glorifying to the Lord in all things. We know, oh Lord that it is perfectly okay to triple check all matters of finances or other arrangements with the other king's kids you will connect with in this fallen world.
We ask, Lord that uncle Mark will be strengthened to have great wisdom and great patience. We pray for his escape and strength and release to a place of serenity for him. We pray he is never tempted to retaliate or taught to take matters into his own hands for we know vengeance is the Lord's. Say therefore to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. (Ezekiel 36:22-23)
Let us also lift up Michelle, Cuskud:
Oh Heavenly Father, thank you that Michelle has been healed from cancer, Lord. We pray against any recurrence and pray for her complete lifelong healing in Jesus' name. We praise You, Lord. You say in Your Word that I will no longer talk much with you, for the prince of this world is coming He has no hold over me, but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me. "Come now let us settle the matter," says the Lord "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land, but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword'. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. (John 14:30-32, Isaiah 1:18) We know our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Remind Michelle that You, oh Lord are the stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. We know that You will behave in wrath to Your enemies and with rebuke to Your enemies do You subdue them? We know that by Your stripes we are healed, Lord. Stand against the enemy's schemes to harm Michelle again, Lord. (1 Peter 5:8, Isaiah 14:6, Psalms 9:5, Isaiah 53:5, Ephesians 6:11) As your humble servants, Lord in applying the wisdom You give us in the book of James, we believe, naming this request particularly before You, Lord.
For amendment of life, for forgiveness of sins, for the desires of our heart, Lord we appeal to You.
Cuskud let us pray for you and your family and your husband and his family, that you all may be strengthened and encouraged. We will be praying for your complete healing, mentally and physically, Lord in Jesus' name. Cast your cares on the Lord and may He sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.
There are many requests in your plea. You mentioned suffering and wanting healing. We wonder if you or your uncle, might be visiting the Father by his son's stripes through prayer and asking Him for mercy and grace in all areas. If not then visit with the Lord Jesus and get to know him. Fast and anoint yourselves with oil and see if you lack wisdom for it says ask of God who gives generously to all.
You mention Jesus nor the remission of sins by his shed blood and resurrection from the dead. We assume this is just an oversight. Please leave a revised prayer that mentions Jesus for us. The Bible tells us that we have been crucified with Christ and we no longer live, but Christ lives in us. The life we now live in the flesh, we live by faith in God's Son, who loved us and gave Himself up for us. You see at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! And you He made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. Like the rest, you are by nature deserving of wrath, oh readers. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. That you might know that you have eternal life in His Son, Jesus, the Christ. Jesus also said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we are buried with Him by baptism into death, that just like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, we also should walk in newness of life. And we know this testimony is true. (Galations 2:20, Romans 5:7-10, Romans 5:6, Ephesians 2:1-4, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 5:13, John 14:6, Romans 6:4)
We will provide more prayers and replies and in-depth consideration of your requests in a few hours. Let us consider that these admonitions may begin to usher these remedies and the move of God in all your hearts. And let us remember that Jesus came to give us access to the Father and the two are one, but we must go through him. (1 Peter 5:10, Psalm 55:22, 1 Corinthians 12:27) The main thing to remember is to listen to Him.
