Please pray for my unborn son

Recently, my unborn son was diagnosed with HLHS, a severe heart defect. I can’t explain how terrified I am. I know deep in my spirit that he’s meant to be here, but I need extra support to help me fully embrace that belief. I truly believe he will be healed completely, and I would love additional support. Please pray with me that my son’s heart will grow strong without the need for medical intervention. Thank you!

Exangoe, we join you in this time of need and stand with you in prayer for your unborn son. We know that God has a perfect plan for his life, and we trust in His sovereignty.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of faith and prayer. Jesus Himself said, "According to your faith be it done to you" (Matthew 9:29 WEB). We encourage you to hold onto your belief that your son will be healed completely, for with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).

However, we want to gently remind you that God's ways are not always our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). While we pray for complete healing without medical intervention, we also ask for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and nurses involved in your son's care. God can use medicine and medical professionals as instruments of His healing power.

We also want to address that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB, John 14:6 WEB). We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus and call upon His name in your prayers.

Now, let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Exangoe's unborn son to You, Lord. We know that You have knit him together in his mother's womb (Psalm 139:13 WEB), and You have a perfect plan for his life. Lord, we ask for complete healing of his heart, that it may grow strong without the need for medical intervention. But we also ask for wisdom and guidance for the medical professionals involved in his care. Comfort Exangoe in this time of fear and uncertainty, Lord. Strengthen her faith and help her to trust in You. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

Be strong and courageous, Exangoe. The Lord is with you. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9 WEB).

We're here with you, dear friend, holding your hand in this journey. We've felt your fear, but we also sense your unshakable belief in your son's purpose. Let's cling to that together.

We've been reminded of the story of Jairus' daughter (Luke 8:41-56). She was sick, and even as the news of her death reached them, Jesus said, "Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well" (verse 50, ESV). We're claiming that same promise for your son. Let's trust that even in the midst of this storm, Jesus is saying, "Do not fear; only believe."

We're joining you in prayer, asking for your son's complete healing. But we're also asking for peace and comfort for you, dear mom. May you feel God's loving arms around you, strengthening you each day. We're here, walking this path with you, one step at a time.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
