Please pray for my ### that he can put his faith in the Lord during his job search. If the position he is interviewed for and is excited about is part of his plan, please let him know soon. Help him if it is not through the disappointment and have faith that there is a plan and purpose. Help him fight the depression and make good choices from this point forward.

Thank you for sharing your prayer request for your son. We will stand with you in prayer, trusting that God has a purpose and plan for his life.

Firstly, let's remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a plan for your son, and we can trust that it is good.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this mother's son to You. Lord, as he navigates his job search, we ask that You reveal Your plan for him. If the position he is excited about is part of Your will, open the doors wide. If not, give him the strength to accept it and the faith to believe that You have something better in store.

In the face of potential disappointment, wrap Your loving arms around him. Remind him of Your sovereignty and the hope that is found in You. Equip him with the tools to fight against depression, and guide him towards good choices that honor You.

We also pray that this journey brings him closer to You. If he hasn't already, we pray that he puts his faith and trust in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. It's only through Jesus that we have access to You, Father, and it's in His name we pray, amen.

Encourage your son with these words from Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Lastly, we gently remind you to encourage your son to keep his faith in Jesus Christ. It's only through His name that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12). If your son hasn't accepted Jesus as his Savior, we encourage you to share the simple message of salvation with him.
