Please pray for my stepdad. He is at hospital getting detox off of opioids and pain medicine and is on suicide watch. A doctor started him on these. I pray for God’s grace to let the detox go easy for him. He is 80 yrs and didn’t ask to be on these pills. It started when my mom passed and he constantly cried and talked about he didn’t realize how sick she was, she misses her and started to have stomach trouble docs said nothings wrong physically. Then he had pains and other things wrong with him that physically was not wrong with him doctors say. My sister and I have been crying and praying for him. He said he does not want to see us he just wants to die. Please pray!!!!!

Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Protect me God from all the plans of the enemy of my soul. I pray for your step dad to be returned to good health in treatment and find his connection to God. Please god help him to recover and live the way you would want for him; in safety and sobriety. I know your will for us is to live without altering our minds or perception with substances. I know your will for us is to live happy, joyous and free. I know that sometimes it’s not easy to resist the temptation of addiction and In Jesus name I pray that he can get through each day; one day at a time. And that he will have support and love. Amen
