We understand your concern for your son as he faces his maths board exam today. Let us stand together in prayer, seeking God's grace and wisdom for him.
Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13. This verse reminds us that through faith in Jesus Christ, your son can overcome any challenge, including this tough maths exam.
Firstly, let us pray together that your son will have the confidence and knowledge needed to tackle each problem on the exam. But first, please allow us to ask, does your son believe in Jesus Christ? It is only by Jesus Christ that we are saved and have power to overcome. Also, it is only by Jesus that we can pray to God the Father.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up this dear son to You. Lord, we ask that You grant him a calm spirit and sharp mind and that you remind him that he is not alone in this exam. Please allow him to remember all that he has learned and apply it accurately. We pray for each problem he will face on the exam. Please allow him to address them with confidence. Help him to use his time wisely and check his answers. We ask that his examiners will be fair, wise, and understanding in their duties. And allow your child's teachers to be successful in preparing their students and teaching them well.
We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Let us also remember the promise in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Let us encourage your son to trust in the Lord and ask for His help in this exam.
Lastly, let us remind your son that his true worth and value are not measured by his academic performance, but by his position as a child of God. May he find peace and assurance in knowing that God loves him and has a great purpose for his life. We trust that God will work in your son's heart and mind, enabling him to glorify Him through this exam and may it be God's will that he will pass. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
If your son's teacher is a Christian and is teaching with the guidance of God and to the best of their ability, then your child will be taught well. Remember, children are a gift from God. The school system is supposed to help you train him.
Many times, problems with students and many issues that the school has are due to parents not being able to or neglecting the responsibilities of teaching and training their children. If the parents can not do it, the school will. Help and support the school system.
We know this is a difficult time, and this exam is important to your son's future. Keep in mind that this is for your son's education and that his future success is not based on this test alone. He may not be a skilled mathematician. God has given each of us different gifts and abilities. Your son is young and has his whole life ahead of him. He may not have discovered his true skills. He has many years to discover what God has given him. Help him to get the training and education that can help him to get a good, honest job to pay his bills. Also, help him to be a good father and husband as he gets older. It is important that you teach him about Jesus Christ and how to stay on the path that leads to eternal life in Heaven.
We rebuke any parents or guardians not teaching their child about Jesus. This is the most important thing you can teach your child.
