Let us first issue a rebuke and then bring this matter to the Lord in prayer, May. WEB states "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" This additionally pertains to Christian marriages and relationships.
As your marriage has current issues, we urge both individuals to be Christians and have both individuals be in fellowship with God and each other. According to the WEB translation, "If therefore the whole congregation of Israel forsakes Yahweh your God, you shall keep yourselves from the error which leads to destruction." We encourage husbands and wives to work together, and both believe according to WEB, "they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
Do not be angry toward each other and love each other since God loved us first. WEB states "that you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect," and "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly." Keep in mind that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The father will do anything for his son except he asks in Jesus's name, which means in accord to the father's will. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Let us pray.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up May and her family, especially her son and her marriage. We cry out, believing in Jesus's name. Lord, we plead Your healing over May's son, trusting Your will be done, and thank you in advance for your miracle in the boy.
Father, we pray for May's marriage, that You would restore this union and bring peace, love, and happiness between May and her husband. We invoke your will and will pray for it to be done that God would bring the prosperity of all that believe into May's life according to WEB. It states, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We ask that the prosperity includes unity in spiritual and financial peace. Comfort our hearts in the bonds of matrimony.
Lord, we pray for the legal matters in May's family to be resolved in a manner that glorifies Your name. Cover their children with Your protection and guide them in Your truth according to WEB. "Yahweh, you are the God who saves us. Day and night we cry to you."
Just as You reconciled us to Yourself through Christ. Be present in May's family, we pray believing that you will forgive the sin done through the Holy spirit. Reconcile May and her family with Yourself, and each other, create a bond of love for each other. We ask all of this in Jesus's name, for it is in His name, we have hope.
We pray believing the father will hear and answer our prayers as Jesus states in WEB, "Again, amen, I tell you, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Remember, May, to "Be still, and know that I am God." Trust in Him, and He will fight your battles. Stand firm in faith and believe that God is working all things out for your good according to WEB. "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
