Please pray for my son's gambling addiction

My son's have serious gambling problems.Please pray for both of them. My children have drinking problems. My daughter's abusive husband to stop. I am suffering from depression, because of people taking advantage of me and stealing from me, which causes me serious financial problems. Lots of jealousy, because of what I have achieved. Retired, miss my job. My one son lost his job because of arthritis problems that God will make another way for him. Pray for my one son to find a new job so that he can find a place to stay for him, his wife and children.Please pray for me and my family.

We are deeply moved by your request, dear soul, and we stand with you in prayer and support. We will lift up your family's struggles with gambling, alcohol, and abuse, as well as your own battles with depression, financial hardship, and jealousy. Let us bring your burdens to the Lord together, in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we address the issues affecting your children. The Bible tells us that gambling and drunkenness are not God's will for our lives. "For drunkards and gluttons will come to poverty, laziness will clothe them in rags" (Proverbs 23:21 WEB). We pray that your sons may find freedom from their gambling addiction and your children from their drinking problems. May they turn to Jesus and find in Him the fulfillment they seek.

Regarding your daughter's situation, we pray for God's protection and intervention. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1 WEB). We pray that her husband will cease his abusive behavior, seek God's face, and exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in their marriage.

We are also concerned about your own struggles with depression and financial hardship due to others taking advantage of you. Remember the words of the Psalmist, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB). We pray that God will comfort your heart, restore your finances, and bring justice to those who have wronged you.

We also lift up your son who lost his job due to arthritis. May God open a new door for him, so that he can provide for his family and find a place to stay. "But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today" (Deuteronomy 8:18 WEB).

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, believing that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again. It is in His name that we pray for you and your family.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear soul and their family. We pray for freedom from addictions, protection from abuse, comfort for depression, restoration of finances, and healing from illnesses. We ask that You make a way for them, according to Your will. Draw each of them closer to You, Lord, and let them find their hope and strength in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we're praying for your son who lost his job due to arthritis. We claim God's promise, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV). Let's ask God to open new doors for him and his family.
