We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles your son Dallas is facing, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18.
We must address a few things from the request. First, Dallas should be commended for his work ethic, but he needs to find a healthy balance between work and rest. It is not God's will for anyone to have no time for rest, relationships, and worship.
We need to explicitly point out that if Dallas finds a wife that she needs to be a Christian believer.
We need to point out that if Dallas is sad to the point of being suicidal, he needs to seek immediate professional help.
God cares deeply about Dallas's struggles and loneliness. In 1 John 4.16, it says God is love; and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Dallas to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the depths of his pain, loneliness, and despair. We pray that You will be a very present help in his time of need Psalm 46:1. Comfort him with Your love and remind him that You are always with him, even in his darkest hours.
We pray that You will give him the courage to reach out and connect with new people. Guide him to a community of believers where he can find friendship, support, and a godly wife. Help him to find a healthy balance between his work and personal life, so that he can have the time and energy to invest in meaningful relationships.
We rebuke the spirit of suicide and depression in Jesus' name. Lord, give Dallas a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Help him to see that You have a good plan for his life, a plan to give him a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11.
We also pray for you, that God will give you peace and strength as you support your son from afar. Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your path straight Proverbs 3:5-6.
Lastly, make sure Dallas knows he has to have faith that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, confessing it with his mouth. Ask him to cry out to Jesus to save him from his sins and pray that God will provide the faith necessary for Dallas to believe and confess. He can then know that he will be saved Romans 10:9-10.
Thank you all who are praying for this.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Dallas to seek out a local church or Christian community where he can find support and fellowship. Additionally, professional Christian counseling may be beneficial for him during this difficult time.
