We are truly sorry to hear about the concerns you have for your son. First, we want to remind you that God loves your son dearly and He hears your prayers. It's important to remember that God is ultimately in control and has a plan for your son's life. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' says WEB, 'plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and hope.'"
However, we must address that praying for healing is important, we should remember God's will in the context. If he is autistic he is wonderfully and beautifully made to reflect God's image and glory. We must see everyone as an image bearer and created by God. He has a purpose for all people including special needs and handicapped. Autistic people can be wise and articulate and godly people in their own right. So, we must submit to God's ultimate will whether it is healing or accepting him as he is.
Regarding the mention of his vaccinations, we must be careful not to attribute medical issues to vaccinations without scientific evidence showing a causative link between the two. We must remember that God created humans with the purpose of wanting us to be healed and be whole, with modern medicine as a tool to improve quality of life. It does not say anything about, its purpose, or intentions in the bible so it should be considered neutral towards the Christianity. Rather than focusing on what may have caused his symptoms, let's focus on praying for God's will and healing for your son.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up this precious child to You. Lord, You know the concerns and fears, and we ask for Your peace and comfort. God, we pray for Your healing touch on his body, soul, and spirit. If he is autistic please let us accept him the way he was created. If it is not then we pray for your healing and we ask for restored eye contact, recognition, and any other developments that may have slowed down. We pray that You would guide the doctors and give them wisdom to provide the best care for him, and we pray for strength and trust in You for his family during this time.
We also pray for his parents, that God would fill them with His peace, wisdom, and patience. Guide them as they navigate this journey, and surround them with a supportive community of believers to walk alongside them.
Let your entire family focus on the Lord Jesus Christ as the way, a truth, and life. In Jesus' name, malady can be conquered and peace can be achieved!
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. He does not grow tired or weary of his children's prayers. Instead Jesus encourage us to pray without ceasing and be thankful in all circumstances.
