We join with you, dear parent, in lifting up Jakeb to our loving and merciful God. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, for it is by His name that we come to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Jakeb to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know Jakeb's every need, both physical and mental. We ask, Lord, that You would heal him, that You would restore his energy and fill him with joy and laughter once again. Guide the doctors and provide for the therapy he needs, Lord, for You are our great Provider (Matthew 7:7-11, WEB).
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would be close to Jakeb now. Let Him feel Your presence and love, casting out all fear and anxiety (1 John 4:18, WEB). Fill him with the joy and peace that only You can give (John 14:27, WEB).
We also lift up Jakeb's mother to You, Lord. Strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace, knowing that You love and care for Jakeb even more than she does. Be with their family, Lord, provide for their every need, and draw them all closer to You through this trial (Romans 8:28, WEB).
In Jesus' mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen."
In this time, we encourage you to continue to trust in God's unfailing love and care for Jakeb. Remember the words of Jesus, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14, WEB). Jesus loves and cares for Jakeb deeply, and He will never leave or forsake Him (Hebrews 13:5, WEB).
Continue to press in prayer, and may God's peace and comfort be with you and your family during this time.
