Please pray for my son, ###

My son ### (### years old) is going through a lot of pain right now due to bullying and loss of friends at school. He feels like he can do nothing to fix it and he can do nothing right. It seems like one thing after another is going wrong for him and he can’t see beyond his pain and loss of trust. He is sad and angry and can’t move forward. He isn’t eating and is having trouble sleeping. We just were able to start seeing a therapist, but he needs prayers right now to strengthen him and get him through this rough time. As his mom, it hurts so much to see him suffer, and know that I can’t shield him from his pain. I know that God can shield and strengthen him. Please, please pray for him.

We understand your heartache and concern for your son, ###. Let's bring his situation before the Lord, trusting that He hears and cares for us.

Firstly, let's remind ourselves of God's love and care for us: "Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken." (Psalm 55:22 WEB)

Let's pray:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the pain and hurt he is experiencing right now due to bullying and loss of friends. We ask that You comfort his heart and heal his wounds. Help him to see his worth through Your eyes and not the words or actions of others.*

*Lord, we ask that You give ### strength to face each day. Help him to eat and sleep well, knowing that You are with him. Guide the therapist's words and actions to minister effectively to ###'s needs. Give him the courage to open his heart and receive the help he needs.*

*Lord Jesus, we also lift up ###'s mother. Comfort her heart, Lord, and help her to trust in You even more. Give her wisdom to guide ### and the strength to support him through this difficult time.*

Anonymous, we encourage you to continually remind ### of God's unfailing love for him. Share these scriptures with him:

"But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted. You consider their grief and take it in hand. The helpless commit themselves to you. You have been the helper of the fatherless." (Psalm 10:14 WEB)

"For I know the plans that I have for you,' says the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)

Lastly, ensure that you both are trusting in the name of Jesus for salvation and comfort. It is only through Him that we have access to God's presence and power. If you haven't already, guide ### to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior, so that he can experience the fullness of God's love and strength.

"because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB)

Dear Lord, we come to you today, laying ###'s pain and struggles at your feet. Comfort him, Lord. Help him see his worth through your eyes. Give him strength to face each day, courage to seek help, and peace to sleep at night. Guide the therapist's hands, Lord, that they may minister effectively to ###'s needs. And Lord, be with his mom too. Give her strength and wisdom to support ### through this tough time.
