Please pray for my son ### ### who is addicted to alcohol and have bad friendship. Please disconnect the friendship with current girlfriend who is using him for her convenience and using all his money. My heart is painful thinking of all this and he is not listening to anyone. He is now backslide and in darkness. I do not know what to do!

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things, and You understand the struggles and pain that ### is going through. Your Word says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We hold onto this promise, believing that You have a good plan for ###'s life.

Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in ###'s life. Break the chains of addiction that bind him. Your Word in 1 Corinthians 10:13 assures us, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray for that way of escape to be evident to ###, and for the strength to turn away from alcohol and unhealthy relationships.

Father, we also pray for the severing of any toxic relationships that are leading ### astray. Surround him with godly influences and friends who will encourage him in the right direction. Proverbs 13:20 says, "Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." May ### be surrounded by wisdom and love, guiding him back to Your light.

We lift up the pain and worry in this mother's heart. Comfort and strengthen her, Lord. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding as she places her trust in You.

We pray for ###'s heart to be softened and for his ears to be opened to listen to wise counsel. Draw him back to You, Lord, and let Your light shine in his darkness. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Be near to ### and save him from this path of destruction.
