Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up ### in prayer. Lord, You know the desires of ###'s heart and the stress he is feeling about finding employment. We ask that You provide him with peace and comfort during this challenging time. Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Father, we ask that You guide ### to the right job opportunity, one that will not only meet his needs but also allow him to use the gifts and talents You have bestowed upon him. We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Lord, we pray that ### feels Your presence and knows that You are with him every step of the way. Strengthen his faith and help him to cast all his anxieties on You, as 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the work You are already doing in ###'s life. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
