Please pray for my son who has ###

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their son who is struggling with narcotic drugs. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we know that nothing is impossible for You. Your Word says in Matthew 19:26, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Father, we ask that You would intervene in the life of ###'s son. We pray that You would break the chains of addiction and set him free. Your Word assures us in Isaiah 61:1 that You have come to bind up the brokenhearted and proclaim freedom for the captives. We claim this promise over ###'s son right now.
Lord, we pray for healing and restoration in his life. We ask that You would surround him with godly influences and remove any negative influences that may be contributing to his addiction. Give him the strength and courage to resist temptation and turn away from drugs.
We also pray for ### as a parent, that You would grant them wisdom, patience, and discernment in dealing with this situation. Give them the right words to speak and the right actions to take. Help them to trust in Your guidance and lean on Your strength during this difficult time.
Lord, we know that You are a God of redemption and transformation. We believe that You can turn this situation around for good. We ask that You would bring restoration to ###'s son's life, that he may experience the abundant life that You have promised in John 10:10.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
