We join with you, Ying, in lifting up your son before the throne of grace. It is our heartfelt desire to seek God's will for his life, trusting that His plans are always good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2, WEB).
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of Ying's son. Lord, You know the desires of his heart and the needs of his life. As he prepares for this interview, we ask that You grant him wisdom and knowledge, that he may answer each question with discernment and understanding (James 1:5, WEB). Guide his thoughts and words, that his responses may resonate with the hiring team. Lord, we ask that You grant him favor, as You did with Joseph before Pharaoh (Genesis 41:37, WEB), that he may find acceptance and be given the opportunity to join their team.*
We encourage you, Ying, to continue trusting in the Lord's faithfulness. Remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Whether or not your son is offered this particular job, we can trust that God is working all things together for his good, because he loves God and is called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
We also commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB), and there is no other name given under heaven, among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). Continue to bring your petitions before the Lord, trusting in His power and love.
Lastly, remind your son to trust in the Lord with all his heart, and not to lean on his own understanding. In all his ways, he should acknowledge God, who will direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Encourage him to seek God's will above all else, desiring that Christ may be glorified in his life, whether in employment or in waiting.
