We understand your concern for your son and the families of D and B who are experiencing loss. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will according to His word.
Firstly, we are reminded of the words in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We should not be anxious but bring our requests to God, trusting that He cares for us.
Let us pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the needs of our dear brother Aethewelf. Lord, we ask that You provide for his son, that he may find suitable housing near his school. Guide him in his search and open the right doors at the right time. We know that You care for us and that You promise to provide for our needs according to Your riches in glory. Comfort his heart and help him to trust in You.*
Regarding the families of D and B experiencing loss, we are reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Let us pray:
*Lord, we lift up the families of D and B, who are going through a time of loss. We ask that You, the God of all comfort, would be near to them, comforting them in their time of need. Help them to cast all their cares on You, knowing that You care for them. Remind them of the hope that is in Jesus Christ, and strengthen their faith.*
Lastly, we encourage you, Aethewelf, to always approach God in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
