Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Themack and their son Luke. We lift up Luke to you, knowing that you are the God who hears and answers prayers. We acknowledge that Luke has had difficult experiences in his life and has felt that religion was forced upon him. We ask for your mercy and grace to touch his heart and bring healing to his past wounds.
Lord, we pray for a divine encounter with you for Luke. We ask that you would send someone or something into his life to draw him back to you. Your Word reminds us in John 6:44 that no one can come to you unless you draw them, so we ask for your drawing power to be at work in Luke's life. Break the chains of the enemy that are holding him captive and open his eyes to see the truth of your love and salvation.
Father, we pray for deliverance from the influence of the evil one over Luke's life. We declare in the authority of Jesus' name that every scheme and plan of the enemy to keep Luke away from you will be broken. Your Word assures us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds and casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We claim this promise over Luke's life and ask for your power to demolish every stronghold that is hindering his return to you.
Lord, we know that you desire for all to come to repentance and salvation . We ask that you would soften Luke's heart and draw him back into a relationship with you. Surround him with your love and grace, and let him experience the joy and peace that can only be found in you.
We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your perfect timing and believe that you are working behind the scenes to bring about a transformation in Luke's life. May your will be done, and may Luke come to know you as his Lord and Savior before it's too late.
