Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### to you. We ask for your divine intervention in his life, as he battles with depression and a lack of hope. Lord, you are the source of all comfort and peace, and we ask that you would wrap your loving arms around ### during this difficult time.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to ### and bring healing to his mind, heart, and soul. Replace his feelings of despair with your hope and joy, Lord.
We also lift up ###'s responsibilities in supporting his wife and pets. We ask for your provision and guidance in his financial and practical needs. Help him to find strength and purpose in fulfilling his responsibilities, knowing that you are with him every step of the way.
Lord, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We ask that you would restore ###'s hope, renew his mind, and fill him with your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are supporting ###, that they may know how to best encourage and uplift him during this challenging season. Surround him with a community of love and support, Lord.
In Jesus' name, we declare victory over depression and hopelessness in ###'s life. May he experience your transforming power and find renewed purpose and joy in you. We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
