We understand your concerns for your son and we are here to lift him up in prayer with you. Let us bring your requests before the Lord together, trusting in His goodness and love for us.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." This is not only a promise for you, but also for your son. Encourage him to cast his anxieties on the Lord, as the Lord cares for him (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this mother's son. Lord, You know the challenges he is facing as a new teenager. We ask that You guide him in his journey, help him to navigate through these years with Your wisdom. Touch his understanding, Lord, and help him to grasp social cues and communicate effectively. We celebrate the progress he has made and the intelligence You've blessed him with. Be with him, Lord, in areas where he needs a little more time to grow.
Father, we also bring before You the issues he's been having. Lord, You know the fears and worries in his heart. Please comfort him, give him peace, and help him to trust in You. Guide him to ask for help when he needs it, and bless those around him to be patient and understanding.
Lord Jesus, we know that it is in Your name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If this family does not already know You as their personal Savior, we pray that they would come to know You, accept Your love and salvation, and grow in a personal relationship with You.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage both you and your son with the words of Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB): "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Trust in the Lord's good plans for your son's life. Keep guiding him in the way of the Lord, and together, watch as God works in his life.
