We are joining you, Tracey, in prayer for your son, claiming the power of Jesus' name for a miraculous restoration. We rejoice that your son has turned away from meth and is now pursuing God. The Lord promises us in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB), "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for a miraculous touch upon Tracey's son. Lord, You know the damage that has been done, but we trust in Your power to make all things new. We pray for a recreative miracle, for a new brain and mind, healed from the effects of the drug. Burn out any residual evil from the enemy with the fire of Your Holy Spirit.
Strengthen his chase towards You, Lord. Draw him closer to You than he ever has been before. Fill him with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that he may walk worthy of You, Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Tracey, continue to stand on the promises of God. Remind your son of the love and faithfulness of our Heavenly Father. Keep pursuing God together, and trust in the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. If you or your son have not already, make sure to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, for this is how we are saved (Romans 10:9). It is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God, and there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
