Please pray for my son! He has worked so hard to be named a captain. He has done the work but so many times he has been overlooked or passed by. Please pray that he is selected. It would mean so much. He has lost out on so many of these things. Thanks.

Braenorenn, we empathize with your concern for your son and the effort he has put into achieving his goal. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for his life.

Firstly, we must remember that our worth and success are not solely defined by the recognition of others, but by our faithfulness to God's plan. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

We pray that your son will be encouraged and find his value in Christ, knowing that God sees his hard work and dedication. We ask that the Lord will grant him favor in the eyes of those who make these decisions, and if it is according to His will, that your son will be selected as captain.

However, we must also pray for his heart to be prepared for any outcome, trusting that God has a purpose and a plan in both achievement and disappointment. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Let us also ensure that we are approaching God in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Therefore, let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Braenorenn's son to You. Lord, You see his hard work, his dedication, and his desire to lead. We ask that You will grant him favor and, if it is according to Your will, that he will be selected as captain. Help him to find his value and worth in You, Lord, and prepare his heart to trust in Your plan, whatever the outcome may be. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
