Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of ### and their son. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their son's life. We pray that You would touch his heart and deliver him from the bondage of alcohol addiction.
Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We claim this promise for ###'s son, knowing that You are near to those who are hurting and in need.
Lord, we ask that You would bring conviction to his heart and grant him the strength to resist the temptation of alcohol. Fill him with a deep hunger for Your Word and a desire to seek Your face. Surround him with godly influences and supportive individuals who can guide him towards a life of sobriety and purpose.
We also pray for ###, that You would grant them wisdom, strength, and peace during this challenging time. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing and to lean on You for guidance and comfort. Give them the words to speak and the actions to take that will lead their son towards healing and restoration.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of suicide that is tormenting their son and declare that it has no power over him. We pray for a renewed sense of hope and purpose to flood his heart and mind. Replace his despair with Your love and joy, and surround him with Your protective angels.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You are able to bring about a miraculous transformation in this situation. May Your will be done in the life of ###'s son, for Your glory.
