Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Carolyn McKinley and her son Derek to you. We ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon Derek's life. Lord, you are the ultimate healer, and we believe that nothing is impossible for you.
We specifically pray for Derek's OCD and anxiety. We ask that you would bring peace to his mind and calm his anxious thoughts. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise over Derek's life, trusting that you will replace his anxiety with your perfect peace.
Lord, we also pray for Derek's complete healing from OCD. We know that you have the power to restore and renew. In Mark 9:23, Jesus said, "Everything is possible for one who believes." We declare our faith in your ability to heal Derek, and we ask that you would touch him with your healing hand, removing every trace of OCD from his life.
Father, we thank you for your love and compassion towards Derek and Carolyn. We thank you for hearing our prayers and for being present in their lives. May they experience your peace, comfort, and healing in a tangible way. Strengthen their faith and grant them the assurance that you are working all things together for their good.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
