Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of faith and hope, lifting up Ffaremmler's son as he heads into the final baseball tournament of the season. Lord, You have said in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We ask that You remove the anxiety and stress that has been weighing heavily on his heart.
Father, we know that You have a plan for every life, as You have promised in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Help him to trust in Your plan, even when the path seems uncertain. Grant him the confidence to play with the talents and skills You have blessed him with, and let his abilities shine during this tournament.
Lord, we pray for a breakthrough in this slump. As it is written in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Strengthen him, Lord, and fill him with Your peace and courage. Let him feel Your presence and know that he is not alone.
May this tournament be a time of renewal and success, showcasing his dedication and hard work. We trust in Your divine timing and provision, and we pray that the right opportunities will come his way. In all things, may he glorify You with his actions and attitude.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
