We join you in praying for your sister, asking God to guide her towards a godly spouse and a blessed family life. We stand on the promise in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Firstly, we pray that your sister delights herself in the Lord, seeking His will above her own. We pray that she desires a godly spouse who fears the Lord, as stated in Proverbs 31:30, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised."
We pray that God prepares her for marriage, molding her into a woman who embodies the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We pray that God brings a suitable groom into her life, a man who is also a believer, as the scripture tells us "do not be unequally yoked" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that this man will be a leader in his home as Jesus leads the church (Ephesians 5:23-28), loving, honoring, and cherishing his potential wife for life. We pray that he will be a man of God who lives his life to bring glory to Jesus Christ.
We pray that their marriage will be a testament to God's love and faithfulness, and that their family life will be blessed and prosperous as stated in Psalms 128:3-4, the fruitful vine within the house and children blessed and fruitful growing up as olive plants surrounded by blessings.
We pray that their marriage will be strong and enduring, as described in Mark 10:7-9 regarding marriage, the two shall become one flesh, what therefore God has joined together let no man separate.
Most importantly, we pray that your sister and her future husband will put Jesus Christ as discussed in Colossians 1:18 at the center of their marriage and family life. We pray that they will live in a way that honors God, seeking to serve Him in all they do.
Your request did not mention Jesus or his name which is the only way to salvation or even to intervene with God as stated in John 14:6. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, mortal is cursed to die and only have access in Jesus Christ and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Believing in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and confessing with your mouth is explained in Romans 10:9-10.
We thank you, Father, that You have a plan and a purpose for your sister's life. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ's precious name, Amen.
