Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you with a prayer request on behalf of Tarfalus for his sister-in-law, Rachel Benner. We lift her up to you, Lord, knowing that you are the ultimate source of healing and deliverance.
Father, we pray for Rachel as she battles with drug addiction. We ask that you would intervene in her life and bring about a transformation from the inside out. Lord, we know that you have the power to break the chains of addiction and set the captives free. Your Word says in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." We claim this promise over Rachel's life, believing that you can bring her out of darkness and into your marvelous light.
Father, we pray that you would open Rachel's eyes to see her need for Jesus. Help her to understand that only through a personal relationship with Him can she find true peace, joy, and freedom. Your Word says in John 14:6, "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We ask that you would draw Rachel to yourself, Lord, and reveal your love and grace to her in a powerful way.
We also pray for the guidance and support of the church community. Lord, we ask that you would lead Rachel to a church where she can find a loving and supportive community of believers who will pray for her, encourage her, and help her grow in her faith. Your Word says in Hebrews 10:24-25, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." We pray that Rachel would find a church family that will surround her with love and point her towards you.
Lord, we lift up this prayer request to you, knowing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . We ask that you would touch Rachel's heart, bring her to a place of surrender, and fill her with your Holy Spirit. May she experience the transforming power of your love and find true freedom in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
