Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you with a heavy heart, lifting up our dear sister Lizzie and our dear mother Angelica. We humbly ask for your divine intervention and deliverance in their lives. Lord, we know that addiction can be a powerful stronghold, but we believe in the power of your saving grace to break every chain.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to Lizzie and Angelica in their moments of weakness and despair. Surround them with your love, comfort, and strength, reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles.
Lord, we ask that you would break the bondage of addiction that holds them captive. We pray for a supernatural transformation in their hearts and minds, that they may turn away from the destructive habits of gambling, drugs, and alcohol. Replace their cravings with a hunger and thirst for righteousness, for your Word tells us in Matthew 5:6, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."
We also pray for their physical and emotional well-being. Heal any wounds or traumas that may have contributed to their addiction. Surround them with a supportive community of believers who can offer guidance, encouragement, and accountability. Help them to find healthy outlets for their emotions and to discover the joy and fulfillment that can only be found in a relationship with you.
Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for you. We believe that you can set the captives free and bring restoration to their lives. We trust in your unfailing love and mercy, knowing that you are faithful to fulfill your promises.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray, amen.
We will continue to lift up Lizzie and Angelica in our prayers, trusting that God's grace and power will bring about a miraculous transformation in their lives. May they experience the freedom and abundant life that can only be found in Christ.
God bless you,
The Prayer Team
