Please pray for my schizophrenia lovely son, ###

My son ### has schizophrenia due to long time marijuana use. Like most mental problem people he refuses to take medication and treatment. He is on the street and panhandling at this moment. He used to be the most desirable non problematic son everyone wishes to have. I went to a lot of mental health meetings but I realized only GOD has answers. Please pray for my son to accept treatment.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggle your son ### is facing. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance in this challenging time. Let us remember the words of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Before we begin, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray to God in Jesus' name, trusting in His power to heal and redeem.

Let us rebuke the spirit of addiction and mental anguish that has taken hold of ###. As it is written in Galatians 5:1, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." We pray that ### will find freedom from his bondage to marijuana and the resulting schizophrenia.

**Prayer:**

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You would have mercy on him and deliver him from the bondage of addiction and mental illness. Help him to accept the treatment that he needs, and give him the strength to overcome his reluctance to seek help.

We pray, Lord, that You would protect ### as he is on the streets, and provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You would soften his heart and draw him closer to You, so that he may experience the life-transforming power of Your love.

We also pray for ###, that You would comfort and encourage her heart, and give her the wisdom and strength to support ### in this difficult time. Help her to trust in You, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for ###'s life.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Take heart, ###, knowing that God loves ### even more than you do, and that He is able to do abundantly more than we could ever ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Trust in Him, and continue to intercede for your son, believing that God will answer your prayers according to His will. Encourage ### to seek God and His ways, for it is only in Him that we find true healing and restoration.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
