As Psalm 34:18 (WEB) says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Remain open to each other's needs and be willing to compromise, bearing one another's burdens as instructed in Galatians 6:2 (WEB).
However, we must address that while it's important to seek your parents' blessing, ultimately, your commitment should be to obeying God's will. If your parents have reservations, pray for their hearts to be open and for God to give you wisdom in navigating their concerns.
Lastly, we noticed that your request doesn't mention Jesus Christ explicitly. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.
